Roxanne Nielsen is a professional choreographer and dance instructor. She has worked at many local theatres and schools. From Santa Fe to New York, Nielsen has taught and trained at many levels.

Nielsen brings dance-related opportunities to students with immediate and specific feedback. By emphasizing basic dance techniques as well as the oral tradition of learning, she helps students develop their own dance pieces. These accessible and achievable styles focus to reap a greater sense of ensemble, trust, teamwork, and personal strength. Nielsen’s projects range from a general “arts experience” to any specific interests of teachers and students including one request to incorporate a dance with the U.S. Constitution.
