Priscilla Howe has been a professional storyteller since 1993, performing nationally and internationally. Through her storytelling, Howe connects with audiences of all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds. She has performed not only in urban and rural settings, but also in racially mixed and homogeneous areas.
Howe uses the simple art of storytelling, one of the oldest educational methods in the world, to reach visual, aural, and kinesthetic learners. She has developed a technique that fosters audience participation and uses puppets to engage a variety of audiences—even those who speak English as a second language. Howe’s storytelling, laced with generous dollops of good humor, brings out the audience’s imagination while exploring curriculum connections and character traits.
